Mold On Wood Furniture In Basement

For SERVPRO, no job is too big or too small especially when it comes to mold jobs.  When mold is spotted in a home or business, you want to get it taken care of as soon as possible.  

White spots of mold began forming on the wood areas of the furniture in the living area of this basement in Florence.  The owner called SERVPRO and we sent a technician to inspect.  After discussing the job needs with the owner, a crew was scheduled to begin work. 

As you can see in the after picture, they cleaned the mold from the wooden arms of this chair.  There were several other pieces of furniture with similar mold that were also cleaned.  A dehumidifier was placed until the humidity levels in the basement returned to a normal range.
