Harvey Flood Cleanup

A home in Tomball, TX had minor flood damage after Hurricane Harvey.  The water had only wicked up the drywall about one foot high around the room.  

The baseboards are first removed.  Then wet carpet and carpet pad are removed.   The drywall has to be cut a little higher than where the water stopped to allow for removal of wet insulation.  After all damaged materials are removed, the affected area is treated with an antimicrobial agent and dehumidifiers and air movers are placed to dry the home.  All of these actions help to prevent mold growth after flooding has damaged a home.

All materials in the home were dry two days later.
