Frozen Pipe In Ceiling

The photos are from a water damage job we completed in January 2014.  It was very cold that month and there were many frozen pipes in the Shoals area.  

This one started when a pipe froze and burst in the attic.  The water traveled down into the master bedroom, living room, and hallway.  Water became trapped in the ceiling cavity of both the master bedroom and the living room.  Our crew removed spots of drywall from the ceiling to drain the water.  All area were treated with an antimicrobial and drying equipment was set.  The homeowner was left with some reconstruction needs to her ceiling.  The hardwood floors were saved.
